Baked Chicken Parmesan

This Italian classic is very easy, and a bit healthier than the traditional fried counterpart!


You'll need:
Olive Oil
Italian seasoning
1-2 cloves of garlic, crushed
1 1/4 pound of boneless skinless chicken breast
1 1/2 cups of marinara sauce
1 cup of mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup of parmesan cheese
4 oz of garlic croutons

Step-by-step:
1. Preheat oven to 350
2. Cover the bottom of your casserole dish with olive oil, crushed garlic and italian seasoning
3. Layer the chicken breasts over the bottom of the olive oil mixture
4. Spread the marinara sauce over the chicken
5. Sprinkle half of the mozzarella cheese and half the parmesan cheese over the marinara sauce
6. Pour garlic croutons over the cheese
7. Add the mozzarella cheese and parmesan cheese over the croutons
8. Bake for about 45 minutes, depending on the size of your chicken breasts (ensure breasts are fully cooked before serving (meat thermometer should be at 155 degrees)
